MINORITY OWNED AND STAFFED
Matcon has been minority owned since day one and is certified as such by the State of Florida and the City of Tampa. The certificates are a nice token of recognition, but this was what we were all about long before it was considered politically correct.
Matcon recognizes the importance and benefit of creating opportunity for minority-owned businesses in our community. A detailed, six-step, good-faith plan guides our outreach efforts.

The PULSE committee exists to remind us of who we are collectively and to make sure that doesn’t get lost in our day-to-day work. This is where we all get together to plan and execute activities where we can learn from each other, have fun, and forget about being co-workers and just be friends.
Matcon, an initial Cohort member of the Tampa Bay Chamber Minority Business Accelerator (MBA) program, is proud to be the current program Chair.
The MBA program helps minority-owned businesses with incredible resources and opportunities for growth.
