The Women of Matcon
This week we celebrate all the women that work at Matcon. We appreciate their dedication and efforts on the job site and in the office. During Women in Construction Week we want to give them special thanks for being such a powerful force behind our success and growth. Meet the amazing Women of Matcon!
Ana Escobar
Director of Talent Development
Ana grew up in a household of DIYers and around family members in the construction industry. She loves connecting the right people with the right positions and seeing them – and their company – grow and thrive.
Carolina Londono
Executive Assistant
Carolina’s passion with construction grew after she started working for Matcon. The more she learned about it the more she liked it. She loves the unpredictability, the constant learning, the endless opportunities. “The sky is the limit!”
Jennifer Cardona-Duran
Accounting Manager
Making an impact on her community is what keeps Jennifer passionate about working in construction. “I love the fact that we create a positive, long-lasting impact in our community through the structures we build/restore.”
Mary Shields
Financial Controller
For Mary, construction is all about the incredible teamwork that goes into building a structure and watching it all come together from a pile of dirt to a beautiful building.
Marynes Mateos
Managing Director
“Construction is such a crucial industry; it affects so many lives directly and indirectly. I love knowing we are making a difference in our community, to our employees and their families, and hopefully we inspire other female leaders to join the industry. ”
Nathalie Ordóñez
Accounts Payable Specialist
Nathalie loves the fact that working in construction is not always neat, organized or easy. “I love challenges and hate being bored!”
Olga Mateos
Office Manager
Olga has seen a lot of change in her 35+ years of experience in construction. She hopes her grandchildren love the industry as much as she does and carry on the Mateos legacy of excellence in building the community.
Rachel Montgomery
Assistant Superintendent
The ever-changing nature of construction work is what keeps Rachel excited about getting up every morning. It quenches her thirst for knowledge and keeps her brain stimulated.
Tammi Tello
Marketing Specialist
Tammi discovered Matcon and the construction industry at the same time, in 2017. She considers it to be a very exciting industry and loves working on graphic design and marketing packages.
